You can easily find a link to a non-binary-stream file using Video Download Helper Plugin or browser network analysis. If you use an older browser there is a chance you will directly get a mp4 file.

Open the video link in VLC, convert to anything you want! =)

there’s also a Mac app called audio hijack that I know of that allows you to do up to 10 minuets if audio recording at once on the free trial

As far as I know, VLC and youtube-dl command line tools are totally free and safe that everyone can rely on. However, these tools seem to be unworkable for live streaming video, so I sometimes use my RecMaster to save my favorite live events in case there's no achieved video published later.
