It's been almost 2 months since I quit my job, more or less, and seeing my Github contributions plummet from daily to nothing is very disheartening.

I tried applying for some jobs during this time but can't even land an interview. My motivation has slowly descended to being almost non-existent, only wanting to earn enough to support my hobbies. I officially have no motivation nor any aspirations in life now except to play video games and eventually, possibly, die alone.

Fuck...

this is almost like burning out.

i would suggest, go outside, disconnect from the E-world for a few hours, and stare at the clouds until you can see them make different shapes (don't laugh, its so boring that you are forcing yourself to be creative again)

once you see a few rabbit's, elephant's or what ever, try bring your focus on a new/old project again.

@C0D4 tried that, actually, didn't help much though I appreciate the idea. Though I'd like to think it all started because I burned myself out in the first place but I think I never had any 'individuality' in the first place, before burning myself out, and that everything I did was to live up to someone's expectations. And when that someone went away, so did my reason to work hard which eventually made me like this.

Honestly speaking, I think I'm okay with the way things are right now, but realizing I'm not coding - or typing, since my codebase was complete shit - as much as I used to everyday is a bit saddening.

@Bagul Dude I thought I'm the only person like that, but we have a lot of similarities!
I just want to earn enough so I can support myself when I'm old (if I live that long) other than that I have zero motivation.
People told me to find a goal in life so my goal now is just waiting till I die!
