@mmyelf so what if its ugly? It's a 5 minute post about a cat running around the screen. It's way more convenient to just use your phone's built in gif generator than get obs, record for like 5 seconds, crop to a space with editing software and save or otherwise convert to gif to post on the site.

Are you kidding me? Doing so takes litteraly less then 5 minutes

@mmyelf for people that don't know what they're doing, it would take more. Especially if people have to install everything before hand. Then there is recording. And then conversion to gif. The people need to know how to do it before hand which takes time to research. Cut him some slack dude. He just shared something cool and quality doesn't really matter if it's legible. :)

Obs is plug 'n play and the conversion to gif can be easily done with the top google search result of "flv to gif".
Everyone on devRant should know how to use google.

In the end it doesn't really matter but seeing this kind of stuff especially on devRant is driving me nuts

@mmyelf no one is forcing you to stay. But either way, not all posts are like this and most people are friendly. :) I don't see why you would want to cause a big fuss over a gif on the Internet. Either you misunderstood me or you have a really strange definition of "big fuss". I'm not trying to be hostile I just hate these kind of practices and want to express my opinion about them :)
