They don't see your profile. They just have a list, copy/paste message and that is all.
Do not trust recruiters. I put my CV in the hands of them and after 1 month and a half no job.
Started looking for a job myself, sent CV to companies and got one in 2 weeks.
I want to put in my linkedin a message for recruiters not to send me PMs, but I think it sound rude and I just ignore their messages.

When you keep getting +1s on a rant you posted a month ago.
I state clearly that I'm a mid-level web developer on my LinkedIn profile.
A few months ago, I got a message from a recruiter asking if I was interested in a senior iOS developer position. I answered as politely as possible saying no and thanked her.
An exact month later the recruiter sent me another message.
