derTuca1588yIf you changed the home button (Touch ID doesn't work), make sure not to update it, like, ever, since it will Error 53 you, and it will be basically bricked

snayski978yThere's one particular screw on the metal plate that covers the connectors for the screen that acts as a ground to the Touch ID. If you don't replace it or you replace it with the wrong sized screw, Touch ID won't ground and you can't use it. Also, each home button is unique to each device. If you switch it out with another, it won't work.

iPhone 6S got salt water damage. Turns out its the screen so replaced it. Original touch ID doesn't work so that's gone. Now I'm waiting for front camera, sensor, and speaker to arrive to fix that.
