TIL that Warfarin is a real medication, but it wasn’t named after warfare. It has nothing to do with warfare at all.

    @Demolishun I don’t know, I only care about cooking and eating them. But there are a few people here on devrant who apparently know a lot about fungi. Maybe they can answer your question :)

    It's also a rat poison. In higher doses it makes blood too thin to be pumped effectively and stay inside blood system, so it exfiltrates, swells tissues and drowns the victim.

    In small doses its used in heart disease cases, to make blood thinner and easier to pump
