For those using i3 (especially in arch) could you tell me a bit about your set up and preferences? And what de/dm youre using and stuff
Its been recommended to me to use but id like to hear input from this community

@fuck2code iirc, youve mentioned you use it?

1. i3-gaps > original i3 for most people
2. r/unixporn shall be your friend
3. Have a safe no-gui-backup in case you fuck up your config
4. Bars are awesome (many options here, I like polybar but it's up to you)
5. Have fun
6. Sorry for the tens of hours that you're going to lose setting up your perfect config

About dm, I don't use one. At first I just went for the good old gdm, but then I figured I didn't really need it.
It's a cool feature, but it's not like any crucial for your work flow I guess
