    And then wonder why Europeans are laughing about American privacy issues.

    Run wireshark and/or nmap (potential vulnerabilities) and see what you can get from his unprotected ass 😂

    moral of the story; VPN or nothing

    @KeeWeeUsr no kidding

    @Lawrenz1337 I'm not that mean, but I really was tempted to.

    do you use a free VPN or a paid one?
    also, why not use tor to anonymize for free?

    @tysa I got one setup on digital ocean that I setup with openvpn, I'm not trying for anonymity just protection from downgrade attacks and others

    @tysa as for not tor, there's two reasons. one it's not fully anonymous and it can be done the same way as public wifi cause exit nodes can be privately owned and monitored. second reason the US government has went to great lengths to give probable cause if you use tor now

    @jckimble hoe do you mean that with the US government. I didn't get it (sorry, English is not my native language). Does it effect me too? Im from Germany btw.

    it's only the US right now, anonymous vpn are on that list also. if something doesn't happen by December anonymity is screwed
