As a non ubuntu user (mac), did you have to install third party software to get the dock? I am starting new job soon and will be using ubuntu laptop, i feel this looks and feel would ease the transition 😃

@farmerhands The bottom dock is the same as the top one, except I configured it differently. This is all part of the default config that this specific UI comes with and there are different UI's that you can use when it comes to Linux. This one is called XFCE.
There are other third-party docks with more animation and features that look closer to the Mac OS one. These can be easily installed, but I embrace simplicity and prefer to use out of the box stuff.
