I haven't read anything about GDPR because I'm not publishing anything that relates to it.
What's it about? So far, it's only seemed to cause a lot of panic and a fuck ton of spam in my email. -
C0D4669447yHere’s everyone complaining about GDPR, yet these fuckers want $5k?
How can I trust this “made easy” solution works, if they can’t even put a button in a god damn box correctly 😡 -
@Condor As an American I'm not entirely a huge fan of the EU (or UN for that matter tbh). Everything has it's pros, but they also have their cons. To me, it seems like someone's just trying to have laws about everything in existence.

sigfried5337yGod dammit guys! iubenda.com
Free but with limited options. Or $9 a month for multiple sites. Or $27 a year for a site. GDPR compliant. Generates a cookie policy (if you have pro) based on your privacy policy.
It gives you a list of services. You just have to click add and maybe fill in some details like what you store for it (just a multi select).
Easy as that.
Or $40 a month with the shit from the screenshot of the rant. -
@Condor as a company I can somewhat understand you wouldnt be happy but as consumer?
Why say "no I dont want more control over my data"? -
@Stuxnet as a citizen from a country which is always fighting for rights on the internet I really dont see how a private citizen can be opposed to more control over your own data.
The USA always says its the leader of the free world but as soon as citizens get more freedom people start crying. The EU tries to care for citizens instead of multinational companies invading the rights of the citizens. -
@sigfried if you're addressing my screenshot, then that would be 417$~ a month
I do consider looking into iubenda, but definitely not as a monthly solution, wonder how long they cap you for, can you pay a month then jump out? because then that would definitely be the cheapest option out there, just smash all things into one and then later just delete shit you don't need lol
Also it is 9$ for 5 "licenses" not just multiple pages, it scales up the more you need -
sigfried5337y@JoshBent i think you can hop out but you don't get the pro features after doing that. I only pay for a year so I don't know about the monthly subscription.
Maybe look at their FAQ or contact them? -
@sigfried oh god, I can already see the chat "well I want to only pay for a month" 🤣
-
@1nfinite because they can't afford hiring somebody that would make it actually responsive, even though the minimum they charge is 5k$....
-
@Condor well im happy I can control what happens to my data. Its a bit more work to enable trackers if you want to be tracked.
-
@Condor We wanted to release our first product this week, well now we have to rewrite a shit tone to don't get sued. Investor is pissed of as well :(
