@Haxk20 essentially "privacy by design".
Which means by default there should be no collected user data without informing users and having them properly opt in to it and the bullshit part: having them able to receive all data collected, opt out at any point in time and be able to have everything deleted.
Why this is bullshit?
Think about your average little wordpress blogger, who has to become a lawyer themself now, just to inform users properly.

@Haxk20 more or less, yeah. But not only companies. Essentially everything touching data of users in any way. So little people (as i said, e.g. bloggers) have some work to do now, too.

If computers were made illegal are you really going to just sit there and give in? Fuck that shit. I'd fight it. And the more people who refuse to cave, the harder said stupid law is to enforce.

If nobody made their shit GDPR compliant, what's going to happen? The EU can't sue/fine everyone on the internet, and they're a fucking joke if they do.

Laws are meant to be broken was a quote referencing stupid laws. Obviously murder, rape, robbery, ect laws aren't meant to be broken. But stupid and trivial shit is meant to be broken.

As another dR user pointed out, unless you're fucking Facebook or Instagram, you're not getting fine because the EU doesn't even know you exist.
