funnily enough, this happens fairly often. Most people (read: managers) dont know about digital signatures on pdf files, so they print out the pdf or w/e, scan it and send it.

Also story time:
before I started working as a programmer, I was a store manager for one of Norways largest food chains. We had to fax in fruit and bread orders every day before 12.00 am. Was hilarious. We also kept getting spam on the fax machine. Fax. Spam.
