Why is noone using Facebooks scandal to create new social network? Isn't it one of the best times in a while to do that?

Because it's near impossible to leave Facebook for quite some people.

Yes you could make a new one but as long as Facebook keeps going like this I don't think much will change.

That's also why I'd love to see that piece of crap die.

@zlice I don't care what would take over but any major service integrated within a mass surveillance engine/network may die imo.

@linuxxx i get what you are saying. I mean, I would love something new to come out, even if it was paid for sake of keeping my data private, but at the same time I know that I belong to a small group of people who are ready to do that

@DawidCyron I'd love to create one and even though I'm humble; I'd be able to but I've got no time 😞

@linuxxx I'm working on one, as I have too much time, but I lack resources. I don't know any designers or people who know anything about UX. And my UI skills are total shit. Also, I'm doing it mostly to learn Vue.js, not for commercial purposes. But maybe I will change my mind...
