I got travel advertisments on my Windows 10 lock screen. I didn't remember how to get rid of them, so I had to search for it again. I was lead to this piece of fine irony on my screen.

Staring at it felt like staring at the concept of art while it's staring back. This experience left me emotional.

Thank you Microsoft and Windows Central. Thank you art, life, and love. Thank you ads.

    I doubt they show ads in the lock screen. Never seen it

    They do, actually. The background picture changes and there are three floating text regions providing information about the scene. Or, in some rare cases, explain the benefits of using Bing or windows store.

    Personally, I find the feature good enough to let it slide as long as its rare enough.

    @Firedragonweb I don't consider that as ads. Most of these pictures very nice. And I've never seen anything of Bing on it.
