@lucaspar I think the thing where Gitlab got its cooldom from the most is the database removal analysis and repair stream.

Quite a few people went from github and bitbucket to gitlab because they were so open.

@Codex404 and quite a few people will never host code there because of this incident, sadly.

Gitlabs host is Microsoft Azure.

@Codex404 point is why people are suddenly thinking that github is shit since Microsoft buys it?? Is Microsoft asking money now?? Did they break some feature?? Is it a trend? If u r moving just cause of Microsoft then gitlab is being hosted on their product only.

I started out on GitLab.
Never used GitHub until yesterday, and that was just to sync Atom text editor settings.
