@sefaiba I just can't get behind the looks of it. Idk maybe if I just used it all the time I'd get used to it, but just didn't like it.
-
@beegC0de Quantum? Yep. Used it for a week and a half after it was first released and there was a shitload of hype behind it here on dR.
-
@Stuxnet Quantum isn't as fast as Chrome but it's a much better power-user's browser tbh. If I have to fight with the settings for more then 5 minutes to get what I want there's an issue.
-
neofetch8256yit's funny how something i'm working on doesn't work on any browser other than chrome
-
It's a strange thing, but there's an awful lot of good technology in edge, on paper it's brilliant, clever and innovative. Like everyone else though, I can't use it for longer than 10mins at a time. Either I'm sick of it or more usually it crashes, slows down to absolute nothingness like the heat death of the universe or freezes, hence I'm a firefox or chrome user.

I11ya76yI have an ultrabook for travel, and surprisingly edge gives me the best results. Actually think edge is hated because of association with IE
-
@kenogo that's just 90s ie stereotypes of people that didn't even try it, and feel cool blame everything is ms
-
@kenogo @dontbeevil Of the mainstream browsers, it's the ugliest one I've ever seen.
The speed is ok, but it's just not for me. I don't like the look and feel of it.
(Yes, I have indeed tried it. Used it for a week and a half. Still fucking hate it.) -
@Stuxnet we understood that YOU don't like the UI, but that doesn't mean that it sucks for everyone and for everything
-
henlo32976yDont hate me for it but i always use edge for reading ebooks on my tablet. Its the only good thing about it. Reading books and battery
-
@yatanvesh no worries, I also use it daily as my main web browser, it's fast, light, low resources and battery consuming, plus I can Notes... that's because I really uset it, I'm not based on any trend or 90s sterotypes, if you find it good for you, use whatever you prefer

Mitiko63756y@dontbeevil Hate it when people have opinions on stuff they don't understand or haven't tried. Did you guys know the Edge team helped design the Css Grid spec?
Chrome could consume 100% more battery than Edge and I still wouldn't use that pile of shit.
