Anyone using Crostini on a Celeron Chromebook? How is it? Worse or better than Crouton?

I loved running galliumos when I had a Chromebook. sleek thin laptop with long battery life that I was never worried about because it was so cheap (for me). also full Linux productivity.
I have been on the edge of buying one again a few times already.
