    Get other hobbies if you don't like it.

    @antorqs I'm about as chill as possible.

    But I'm just trying block any chance of this becoming an anti modern-lifestyle rant where people whine and bitch about how society is set up. It will happen. It has happened.

    @Stuxnet I didn't get it as a anti modern lifestyle rant.

    For me it is just a 'sad-but-true' or 'it is funny bc is true' rant.

    Nothing wrong with this lifestyle. For me is just sad that I can't enjoy my time in front of the computer at work as much as I do off work. But the first gives me food, the latter joy.

    @Stuxnet
    you are really right though. I for myself feel really much better since I am not spending as much time in the internet anymore. I felt like it made me delusive about what is actually happening where I live. I was ranting about things that didnt even effect me at all. Also I let behind a lot of things that should have been done, also relationships suffered. I try to use the internet only for research (no, really), music and videos, but not useless viral videos but interesting, positive talks or fiction. No more infinite scroll meme feeds or political debates from where I dont live. Just music, shows and code πŸ‘

    @simulate Yes, I’ve done similar and it’s really improved my life. Though I replace the shows with online courses🀷‍♂️

    I have no problem having hobbies at home that involve being on the computer. I also have no shame in coming home and coding side projects. No apologies here for my love of working with computers and making my career around that.
