Racism is still a thing in Germany...
At 11 am, I parked my car in to the right parking lane. It didn't cross any line. A woman in her 50s had the door to my side open and still didn't decide to close it, when I was parking.
Anyways, I got ready to get out of the car. All of the sudden, she knocked on my door. I did open the window.
[Short break: S=She and M=Me]
*Dialogue starts here*
S: How dare you park here?! Over there *points to the next parking slots next to her car* is enough place for your car.
M: I am allowed to park here. Plus, I am not crossing your lane. Aside from that, your door was open. Close the door first (before you fucking yell at me, you bitch - I didn't say this tho.).
S *completely ignores what I just said and focuses on my first phrase*: Of course, you are allowed to park here. But you are also allowed to go back to Turkey! *goes back to her car*
M *completely shocked and thinks about what I have been doing wrong and how Turkey is even related to this parking situation*: FUCK OFF!
*notes her license plate*
*finally gets out of the car. locks it. walks slowly in front of her car, when she just wants to drive away from the parking slot just to annoy the shit out of her with a big ass grin in my face waving at her*

She might of ran you down in rage.

@davehuk it would still be worth it. I had my pleasure :D
  • 9
This kinda shit infuriates me, so I applaud you for handling it so well, I would probably have ended up in prison for brutal murder... :(
  • 2
@Navigatr tbh I was thinking about beating the shit out of her, as well... But then I was like there are too many video cameras, too many people, she is a woman in her 50s (I don't know why I found it as a reason to stop myself to beat her), she would note my license plate, so fuck that and let's annoy her in another way. :D

It was simply not worth that risk

Edit: In addition to the previously listed reasons, I simply can not hit women. In average, they are physically more weak than men.

@-ANGRY-CLIENT- No, I know what you mean, enforcing shitty stereotypes and all that. :(
... Not that I actually endorse beating up ass-faced idiots or anything like that...

Stereotypes are everywhere, not just in Germany. So is lying and racism.

These communication tools every human uses to, among other things, psychologically and physiologically shelter himself from the environment. They are not necessarily 'evil' or 'good' , just like guns.

However it always sucks being the victim of it..
The only thing you can do is be a better man, and you somewhat managed to succeed in this particular situation πŸ‘

@norman70688 it sure is, but I was always like Germany is really putting effort in to strong antiracism advertisements and stuff like that. In a country with such a lean towards antiracism, I simply accepted it that most or even all Germans would be for antiracism.

But then again, I have to face a shitbag like this in the morning.

Probably due to her age and her evolved form of ignorance.
  • 3
    It's the german mentality.
Fortunately the younger generation doesn't have it as strong as the old one
  • 4
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- So if there were no cameras, witnesses and it was a man then you would beat him? I guess stereotypes can be correct after all.
  • 1
@arraysstartat1 most probably, if I would still have the same anger as before and if the man would not be too old (40 and above), yes.
  • 4
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- Bad talk never justifies violence. Even if it's racism.

    enough place for your car
    enough place for your car
    enough place for your car
    enough place for your car
    ->

enough space or enough room for your car.

drive away from the parking slot
drive away from the parking slot
drive away from the parking slot
drive away from the parking slot
    ->
lot. It is parking lot. Not a slot machine.

drive away from the parking lot

@TylerDDevRant thanks! I was not sure about the right term. Saved them in my brain :)

I'm white as fuck (literally, I either end up with a veeeeeery slight tan or just plain red) but this kinda shit makes me so fucking angry.

Sorry you have to encounter this sometimes 😞

@linuxxx the more time passes by, the more racism gets trendy. That is what I call from my own experience.
Back when I was a kid, there was little to no racism, but now I am facing this almost on a weekly basis.
  • 1
@linuxxx it is okay. I appreciate your rising up against racism.

Old people are black/white too much, not only to ethnic groups of people, but also in how they raise(d) their offspring. Luckily, if the offspring is somewhat smarter and even a bit more socialized; they'll ignore their family's ethics and base their own opinion on their own experiences.

Longstoryshort -- It's wrong to group people and *assume* their thinking pattern to be identical to the worst relatable person they ever encountered or -even worse- heard about.

My addition to try to mitigate these people's behaviour; try to turn them at their worst point of action and if they don't make the 180 by my arguments, I'll start ignoring them for the rest of my life. Some of them have even received exactly the same behaviour from me as they were enacting, towards them; mostly for shits and giggles on my behalf. I love toying with cynical logic and reasoning; which makes it extremely entertaining to me...

I ain't a "racist", but, at times some people actually deserve the suffering...

ignorance, human stupidity and generalizing aka putting all people of etnical/religious group in the same basket are fuel for racism.

also majority of people are doing at least one of those things and that is, my friends, why we can't have nice things!

    @legacyJanitor very true

@linuxxx I didn't think fuck was white literally. Or do you mean that fucking is for white people? Then you would have said that you are as white as white people. Now I'm confused about what I just said.

@electrineer You must be new here!

Beating the shit out of people are my everyday thoughts when I read the commentary section under every newsfeed on Facebook. Racist rants everywhere from people full of shit. I tried to close my eyes and let the world burn after I broke up studying Politics, but I can't.

@Kinky-Code that's actually one big reason why I left Facebook. (But you can't deactivate your offline account which is your real life.)

    -Stupidiy of people

    -Racism

    -Extremists

    -Ignorance

    -Data leak

    -[...]

I am really happy to have discovered devRant to those times.

You got all the intelligent people here.

The inspirational, funny, motivational, teaching, friendly, [...] people.

Fuck all the other "SOCIAL" networks. Ain't none of them can be compared to devRant. This place is far superior.
  • 1
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- aye! That's why I spend my social media time mostly here. :3

@Kinky-Code I am happy to have you here :)

Shit like that is just plain sad. Bringing in racism at such a low level of confrontation really speaks about her IQ.

Theres a strong difference between dislikement and racism. For example, I really hate the foreign idiots that cause trouble around my neighbourhood. But I don't hate them because they aren't austrian. I hate them because they are cunts harming and scaring people.
People throw around generalizing statements way too fast. I hate a lot of the turkish people around here, but I can impossibly say that I hate all turks. Fucking bullshit, one of my best mates from school is from Turkey.

He even jokes about being right and "foreigners out" because he realized over the 5 years we were in school together what a retarded laughable thing racism is.

Möchte mal sehen wie die reagiert wenn du n deutschen Freund dabei hast. Dämliche Schachtel.

@ShahriyarRulez Turkey and Germany never were good. There was just a little exception when both of them were good to each other.

That was back then when the "Gastarbeiter" were invited to Germany after WW2 to help repair the infrastructure of Germany together with Germans, Russians (I am not sure about this one tbh) and Italians.

When Germany was repaired again, the neo-nazis began to rise and unthankfully started the discrimination (lots of violence included) towards these previous first generation "Gastarbeiter"s.

  • 1
    @-ANGRY-CLIENT- Likewise mate :)

@ShahriyarRulez Germany and Turkey were "close friends between the mid 19th century and WW1, and Allies during WW1.

    Fucking love that woman.

@BilboSwaggins that is a quite interesting behavior

@BilboSwaggins may I know what your reason for this statement is? Or was this simply sarcasm?
