Also if u have money get a docker station for ur mac. Connect monitor to docker station and vuola u go home put ur mac on docker station and youre ready to go -
I would say it's more productive, I have the MacBook too and mainly use 2 external monitors with it instead of the laptop's display. The screens are larger and allows you to see more at a quick glance, I'm currently using 25 inch 1440p external displays and I would definitely recommend this over 1080p

I have a MBP too an I use a 21:9 29in with 2560x1080 and I recommend to choose a higher resolution. On 24in (or 25) I would go for 1440p.

I’ve got two Samsung 28” U28E590D, 4K, but run it as 1080.
Though I also got an eGPU that sits at home, that runs the 4k monitors -
@gvnix doesn't seem like this one has a height adjustable stand, this may not matter to you but I do prefer my monitors to be slightly higher

Hi!
I currently have a mbp 2015 15in as my daily driver,
I was thinking about buying a external monitor.
So,
1. Is an external monitor worth it?
2. is 24inch enough?
