Update to my last rant: thought I'd give antergos a try, I've heard it's better than Manjaro so I'm gonna see what I think, so far it seems identical more or less

There are gpu driver scripts for AMD and Nvidia on AUR. If you need, that is.

@olback sounds useful, any idea what the Nvidia one is called?

    `yaourt nvidia-installer`

@olback oh nice I didn't know you could search like that, I always do yaourt -Ss

I think antegros has less software bundled with it and just focuses on getting you setup with arch quickly. Manjaro is focused on delivering a complete and ready distro including a bunch of extra tools and customizations.

@NULLmaster seems true so far, I liked the customisation options when installing it

It's a neat wrapper for arch. i'd learn a bit and then evemtually take the time to install arch on your own, it taught me a lot

@j4cobgarby I would use pacaur instead of yaourt, one because of yaourt's known problems, and second because pacaur searches both in the official and user repos. antergos comes with a nice graphical frontend for pacman/the AUR as well!

@theKarlisK i've found that pacaur is a really nice alternative
