The Internet is no different place than the rest of the world. People can be judgemental/mean/toxic, pick any word you like.
I can understand your frustration, so I propose you start giving 0 Fs. You will encounter this attitude a lot and it can wear you down. Don't ignore it totally, filter out all the negativity and see if you can get something useful out of it. 🙂
It can be hard at some points, but there is not much you can do about it. 😕 -
@Qaldim i've been through a lot bs and never encountered such random toxicity. the internet is a different place; people tend to hinde in anonymity. i don't care if someone doesn't like me or the way i behave. i just think we should act like adults and be respectful.

Yes it's meaningful to me and i shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. But growing up in a toxic environment being constantly judged it gets hard to not listen to others. -

imgur users are under the misimpression that people post things on imgur because they give a shit about imgur, rather than because it's the defacto default image host for reddit. There's some checkbox somewhere that makes your photos "private" so they don't show up in the "imgur gallery" but honestly it's a terrible design decision; 99.9x% of people who upload images to the site wouldn't mind at all if the entire "imgur community" was completely removed.

@hasu they don't get linework, just shading. Just have been to my artist and it looks brutal at the moment. I post pics later as i'm on mobile currently. The dragon has a lot more shading and looks pretty amazing. There are things that need to be done (like some white) but i looks alot more finished now

Why is everything so fucking toxic on imgur? I only use this trashsite because reddit doesn't accept manual upload. I'm quite active in a tattoo subreddit and wanted to show my first piece so i created a imgur album und carried on with my life. Just opened imgur (because of another post) and had a bunch of rude comments under my pics.
