That feeling when your clients are very well aware that you're away on holiday but they still try to contact you to work on some last minute edits on a project.

If you are going to do it, make sure you increase your rate/charge extra!

I give lots of advanced notice (if I can) and say that for urgent responses I will try my best but make no guarantees and that a rush fee and a fee for my time *reading* emails and *answering* calls will be charged at something like 3x the normal rate.

@nate Indeed, good advice! Since a couple of years ago I'm actually trying to avoid doing any work while I'm on holiday (I realized I was working too much) so I didn't even bring my laptop :D
