Fuck I hate when my brain remembers the wrong keyword! Just spent way too long trying to figure out why my regex wasn’t working! I remember RegEx.check(str) tests for a match and returns a Boolean. The docs say RegEx.test(str) checks for a match and returns a Boolean! Dammed cinnamons! English is my native language I swear.
