Well processes and shit, especially in a regulated environment. And you have to grow balls of steel because your fucking most important word will be "NO", followed up by "that's your problem", followed up by "then better get your ass going right now".

Pixma66yAnything specific i should study that would 100% be in a question from your experiences? :)
-
@Pixma I'd recommend some Google-fu to get familiar with different dev models. Waterfall, V&V, milestones, but also more agile stuff. Of course, the more agile, the more difficult it will be to do QA - if everything is an amorphous mass, how do you even define quality? Against what reference?
Yeah, btw, that's a good one: what is this "quality" that will be your job to assure? How do you measure it? What KPIs can you use? What are their pitfalls (e.g. management by numbers)? How do you achieve visibility (management absolutely loves this)? How do processes help here? How do you ensure that people actually live the processes? -
Pixma66yAnother question:
How does testing work in an agile environment?
I have been in an agile environment before but only as a main developer so i lack the information or experience on this field. -
Welcome to this awesome place! I'm a Linux engineer + supporter professionally and a programmer+linux engineer+security guy as a hobby so won't be much of help 😬
