@8BitOverdose I was picturing one of those fancy Razer keyboards. But seriously, if you go through the effort of putting blue LEDs *and* red LEDs under the keyboard, why not allow some combination of them?
Anyway not the point of your post I know but I actually found that part the funniest: it supports blue or red! How bout blue *and* red? 😐😐😐 -
@devios1 I completely agree! 5 years ago that was one thing that held me up all night.
In the beginning I only thought it had blue but surprisingly it also had red. I thought I could choose mutiple colors but nope, nothing. I always wondered why.
The only reason I came with that night was that they had too much red LEDs and wanted to get rid of them xd
But yes, guess we'll never know -

@devios1 blue and red make purple. Not pink.
While definitely an improvement, it is not pink, and therefore could be improved further. -
@Root Blue and red light make magenta, which is pretty close to pink (don’t forget the diff btw additive/subtractive colors).
If you want to go any lighter though you’ll need green. -
@Alice i really don't know why but my brain autocorrected pink to marzipan for a good 2 minutes. Now i'm sitting here horribly confused. Guess it was a long day 😅

Mom: "Son, will this laptop run Google?"
Me: "Do you want to surf Google or actually run Google's server?"
Mom: *looks confused*
"I also want to use Fesabook on it"
Me: *brings her a 5 year old laptop with a new ssd in it*
*has an old i3, 8gb ram and no gpu*
Mom: "This laptop is super fast! Thanks son!"
*One hour later*
*Mom calls*
"Son, I think the laptop broke"
Me: "What? What happened?"
Mom: "I pressed a button and now all the keys are lighting red" (backlit keyboard)
Me: "You can choose the color of your keyboard mom"
Mom: "Ooh! How do I make it pink?"
Me: "You can only choose between red and blue..."
Mom: "What a ripoff"
*Hangs up the phone*
