Yes, welcome to the job market
I've been trying to get in for nearly 3 years now, but can't because of unrealistic expectations -
"Flexible in working under changing and different work settings with ability to take on multiple assignments and work to urgent deadlines"
Sure, sounds promising. Though, did they consider to go fuck themselves? -
wannabee2046y@htlr more like they mistyped "retiring programming guru, Master of all but PHP, co-creator of Unix, supreme guardian of the secrets of the Byte"

I was supposed to have multiple years of education in programming. Hell no! Three years studying Design and Product enhancements and then I got my Junior Developer position 😁

aleks2376yIt's the same thing everywhere, and then people write their CVs according to job requirements...
eg. "oh, they need mastermind for Node and Laravel, ok, then ill write that on CV"... and then if it goes good we gather in the office like herd of sheeps -
“Focussed on customer experience”
You just know it’ll be like
Dev: “The client wants a rocket ship built by tomorrow”
Boss: “just get it done, the customer is always right” -
ajinxs5086yProblems -
-Written by non engineers/developers.
-Hearing and adding buzz words.
-Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V descriptions.
-No idea of techonolgy and complexities
-They themselves do not know what they want. -
Not even close, they just throw things. Jobs tend to be harder the less the specifications nowadays, because it shows there is a clear role and vision for the position. When there is an impossible list, it's kind of like "If you know to write Hello World, apply and we will somehow fit you to do some shit of ours" and they throw any buzzword they know in the ad because they can.
