@TheOct0 an WhatsApp API is really something to look forward to. There are tens of businesses just where I live that use WhatsApp to communicate with their customers. Also, people use WA much more often than SMS around here.
I wasn't aware there were services offering an API though, because as far as I know, WA automation goes against their terms.
