Their slogan combined with the fact that you can only contact them by phone, and that youre queued for ~20/30 minutes, and then ending up with someone who, after the whole explanation connects you to someone else, after which you have to explain the whole thing again, and eventually end up talking to someone who really needs to get laid and talks to you as if you are a criminal trying to commit tax fraud, always makes me feel like tax office is just one big bully.

@gitpush yeah we have and we had a sit down already. But still the bills keep coming. The part that sends the bills is automated the correction not.
And I just openend the letters and what is happening now is that our last taxes that we paid the way we should have. Are being used to pay taxes that should not exist and are not being used for the taxes that we should be paying so we are getting fines for not paying those taxes.
Some of the taxes they are now saying we need to pay are from 2013. Like wtf.
In the end its probably going to be allright because we tot all the paperwork to proof we did everything right. But the extra stress and hours to deal with this bullshit. Meh -
@DevForTheMoney my brother used to work for them at the helpdesk. For rent and healthcare payouts. (Zorgtoeslag, huurtoeslag, etc)
They must follow an exact script for helping people. That would take ages and sometimes would not even get the desired result. After sometime working their he chose to go offscript and just help people. But he got reprimanded for that and in the end I think even fired. But he was like, well I helped people so worth it. -

Yeah people that work there are just there to catch the intense emotions and death threats that the screwed over citizens throw at them I guess. -

@gitpush we had a random tax audit in 2016 and everything was okay then.
So their system is just going haywire on our account for some reason. Maybe somebody dropped some production data by accident xD -

So the tax authorities in the Netherlands have this slogan that roughly translates to:
"We can't make it fun, but we can make it easier."
I'm not sure how this is going to be easy for me. This arrived in the mail today.
Even worse this is a fuck up from them. They are saying our company did not do it's taxes but when we log in their online portal we can see that we did them. But they are saying that they don't see it in their system.
Who build that system?
Trying to stay calm when they are claiming I own them more taxes then my company has earned in a year.
I did not have enough sleep for this drama.
By the way how about we save some trees and don't send 30 letters on 1 day.
