No scholarship is worth your life bud.
I'm not risking my life for a small bit of money. -
@Stuxnet Yeah, sadly I didn't learn that before. I come from a poor family and really wanted to have my own earnings to help at home. Since then I've learned to take a better care of my own health and overworking.

Crazed20366yI'm 35k in debt from college but I don't regret it one bit because I wasn't spending my entire time in school stressing over perfect grades and massive essays for scholarships I still probably wouldn't get. I'll pay my loans off as I go.
-
@Crazed My logic exactly.
I'm only $6.5k in debt (that's all I could take out this year lol) but I got at least 2 more years left.
If I fly solo and live cheaply for a few years, I'll have that pain in the ass trimmed down significantly -
Crazed20366y@Stuxnet I'm moving into my first place soon. I focused on school and ended up getting a pretty solid job, so I can afford a decent apartment and student loan payments. Is it ideal? No. But it's a hell of a lot better than being stuck at home :) I'll pay off the loans in due time, I can't get back my youth.

43, I was in college with chance for an scholarship. Got instructed to get the best possible grades, and teachers kept telling me to do better. Did 3 tests in a row, and went to hospital in the 4th one. Doctor said that the amount of coffee and meds I had took could've killed me if I was not lucky.
P.S.: After I got my grades and asked about my scholarship I was told that they gave it to another person that was "more stable" and "healthy"...
P.S.: I don't know if this counts as working
