@Skayo aha Yeah I know some people at both schools, or did because one girl dropped out in the last year in ottakring. I was at htl Rennweg ^^ graduated 2 years ago

@Skayo hmm I wouldn't say it is the hardest (at some point all htls are pretty hard), but the Rennweg has a very good Reputation. Also I think the school is the most investing school (I think about 8 big Server racks full of switches, Routers, servers, ..)
The majority says that the Medientechnik specialization is not so hard as the networking one, which I did. How is the ottakring? :D

Well I'm not actually in IT. It's called "Electronics and technical Informatics" (bzw "Elektronik und technische Informatik").
At the moment I'm not really struggling. Finished 1st and 2nd class with an ease! But it's getting harder!
Dunno what you've learned at school so it's hard to compare

@Skayo ahh ok ok, still you know more than you learn I bet (because your profile looks quite filled with things you propably don't get taught, I suppose).
All around networking, in depth, like the depths of hell. And administrating company infrastructure (Windows and Linux based environments). But I was more like the programmer, so that's what I do now B-)

I was interested in electronics as well, therefore I chose not to go into IT.
