Do you think free VPN providers are reliable and not tracking our personal data?

    What @linuxxx said. Not sure if it was this talk: https://youtu.be/xDslqMCaLZM but I suspect all free VPN providers to run these kind of shananigans. However you could use TOR, which kind of gives you the same thing...

    @Fede26 That it isn't public information doesn't mean they don't actually track. (you can't verify anything with any provider for this matter)

    - buy some lowendbox vps for 2$
    - install docker
    - I run mobilejazz/docker-ipsec-vpn-container from github
    takes 30 minutes of work where 25 is paying for vps and looking for docker installation instructions

    @linuxxx Well, I think that's pure logic. That's the weakest link in the TOR network. Seeing people being busted daily, I'm pretty sure governments are fiddling with it.

    I've had a pretty great experience with nordvpn. It's not free, but I think it works out to two or three bucks per month.
