Oooooor, you can just mark your internet connection as metered connection. Windows doesnt install updates on metered connections. :)

Without any space you'll just have an annoying pop up every time you boot.

Seriously, set up Active hours and stop complaining.

I'll stop complaining when windows stops updating while I'm on laptop battery, active hours are different for every one every day, you cant just put people into a specified timeframe for updating. I want to use windows however I damn please, not the other way around. :)

@kamen I set up active hours once, now that fucking piece of shit wakes up my PC at 3am, waking me up as well. And then the next morning I can enjoy a reset session. Yeah, absolutely no problem. At least it didn't delete all partitions more than once, so why am I even complaining.

It can. And it will. It did so on my fathers laptop.
Spent to days trying to repair it. No chance. I complete destroyed the new and the old windows version. No chance for rescue...

@deadlyRants You can set it to download the updates only on your command (and not automatically); this way, if they're not downloaded yet, nothing will install when you don't want it to.

Did you heard about the bug in windows, where windows installs updates, even when you don't have enough free space?

After I realized that I can't disable autologin to last used account with no password I got so angry I deleted my windows user (shared PC) and permanently moved to Arch Linux with KDE. No regrets.

Or the update delete everything for you 😂😂😄
