I'M SO GONNA GET MY OWN LOCKPICKING SET AND LEARN HOW TO FUCKING PICK LOCKS. I'M SICK OF GETTING LOCKED OUT OF MY OWN FUCKING ROOM. "WHY DON'T YOU USE A KEY?" YOU ASK? GOOD QUESTION. MY JERKBAG ARSEHOLE PARENTS DECIDED TO NOT GIVE ME A FUCKING KEY FOR MY OWN FUCKING ROOM *FOR 6 GODDAM YEARS* SINCE WE'VE MOVED IN. "WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO TO THE LOCKSMITH OR SOME SHIT-" DO YOU I THINK I CAN JUST FUCKING WALTZ IN, ASK FOR THE KEY AND BRING IT TO THE FUCKING LOCKSMITH TO GET A DUPLICATE? AS IF THEY WOULD!!! AND NOW I'M GONNA GET EITHER AN F OR GO FULL SUICIDAL BECAUSE COFFEE THROUGH THE NIGHT IS NOT A FUCKING OPTION FOR ME. BECAUSE ALL THE FUCKING MATERIAL I HAVE FOR MY GODDAM ASSIGNMENT, ALONG WITH MY LAPTOP IS IN MY FUCKING ROOM. THANKS DAD! YOU SURE ARE HELPFUL AS FUCK! FUCK YOU!

    It's a good idea, always good to learn something new.

    You should also probably chill, panic induced rage will probably mess with your project. Have a snek. Feel free to use it whenever you want.

    Make sure it realy works on them...
    I dont want you to throw away knowlege like that. At least make sure you know the subject and then attempt to not return the homework.

    I dont want you to harm yourself by refusing to learn at all!

    @Gregozor2121 I rushed everything so it's done but it's not satisfactory to my taste, but it'd nail me a B+ if I submit it. But this time, I'll just print out half of it, hand it in, get an F. It's not gonna harm my final average too much but definetely I'll get called along with my parents.

    I don't understand. Is your 'room' a bedroom? Why would your parents control access to your bedroom? That doesn't sound normal to me. Do they have a reason for not giving you a key?

    By room, do you mean like appartement, or like, an actual room?

    If you are above 12 you should have your own set of keys. If you are responsible enough to have a cellphone/laptop, you should have the liberty to open doors in the place you live in.

    Why on earth would you lock someone's (bed)room? Are they locking you in? like harry potter? Are you in distress or held against your will? Should we call the cops?

    also, picking is a great hobby and a nice skill to have. Great initiative to start learning!

    @DeadInside Bedroom, yep. And how should I know?! Probably because they want me to "stop being such a pussy and get out more"? @littledaxter No I was locked *outside* my bedroom. And it's my bedroom, not apartment room

    Every coder is fine when they are locked inside their room :)
    The only thing they need to survive is coffee, food, bed and a PC :D
