    @Condor what I don't like about them is that they mostly look like shit. You don't need megabytes to make a website that still looks somewhat nice if it's say some static info website. My landing page clocks in at 36 kB according to Gtmetrix, and that includes an image, navigation menu, header, logo, ARIA markup, responsive CSS and favicon.

    @Fast-Nop Most certainly. It can be surprising how much functionality you can cram down in 36.000 characters! That's why those multi-megabyte web pages that take over 30 seconds to load for rendering and fetching shit from over 50 domains seems so obscene. Luckily ScriptSafe helps with the remote resources a little bit.. but still. Web 2.0, it really sucks... Framework here, library there. Any modern computer can handle it anyway.. right?
