I am starting to think of creating my own company when I finish school.
If all these rejections keep on continuing, I honestly think of doing that.
I just took a look at local "PC docs" and software companies. Like the ones in the same city.
Their websites are looking like those from the 90s.
And most of the things they do... I can do them myself, as well, without needing an apprenticeship. I already own these skills.

You still might need to get regular job. Your company needs customers and getting those early I think is not guaranteed nor is it easy.

You'd need a certificate of company management (Dutch: bedrijfsbeheer, not sure what it is in English) to do that.. here in Belgium that's 4 years of high school economy. Accounting, understanding supply & demand and things like that. It's a pretty difficult and tedious thing to do actually! And insanely boring. I almost got it myself but dropped out halfway 4th year in high school. Those classes were fucking stupid... But I kind of regret not having gone through for another 6 months. Freelancing may be interesting to look into though. @JoshBent is doing that too, and it seems to be going well for him :)

Keep trying to get a job. Do you want to be the students who make it or the students who don’t? Study more data structures and their applications and do more leetcode. Easy to medium is enough for even Yahoo, IBM, Amazon, etc.

And if you wanna go further then medium to hard for better tech companies like Apple, Facebook, and Google.

I keep seeing my old colleagues fail. But it takes practice. You need to make it or break it.

Don’t let yourself down. Don’t start your own company just yet. I say this because success for that is a tremendous amount of luck AND experience. Though there are cases where dropouts are successful, you can’t bet it all on that.

You got a family to take care of (or soon you will). Maybe an SO who depends on you to be this person. Now’s not the time to start a company. Now’s the time to make it into the industry.
