There are more COMPANIES contributing to the kernel than most github projects have stars. There are more COUNTRIES contributing to the kernel than most software projects have active developers.There are more COMMITS going through the kernel per day than most software projects have in their entire lifetime.

The objective is to hold positions of power over any and every important project or community there is out there. Diversity/patriarchy/whatever-y is just the excuse they use to initiate their attacks against prominent figures so they can destroy them and step over their heads, otherwise they wouldn't be so inconsistent and contradictory.

It's simply about anti-male sexism and anti-white racism. That's why white men aren't "diverse".

@Fast-Nop The hilarious part is that it's not even true that the kernel is ridiculously white. Look at all the Chinese and Indians on the contributor list.

There are 5 times as many Chinese contributors and nearly 2 times as many Indians as there are Americans.

@madumlao and even if the kernel were mostly "white", this still wouldn't be a problem unless actual racism against others prevented their participation, which has never been the case because the kernel community isn't the KKK. Same for women, they can readily participate if they want and are good enough developers.
True, you have to invest the time to become good enough, and also familiar enough with the code base, but that's the same entry barrier for everyone.

Diversity is bullshit.

The point of the left's constant efforts towards "diversity" isn't actually diversity; it's conformity.

They are exact opposites.
