@jirehstudios the thing is other fields in the same form with same attributes don't display this problem that makes it strange. Btw the browser I am using is Firefox.
JavaScript engine trolling: input field in html defined as a number but JavaScript insisted it was a string! But only that one field. That is same as the rest.
