    As long as you know how to install Arch but are just too lazy to do it, you're forgiven (:
    Also, @Haxk20

    @Condor yeah done it plenty of times, just tired of inputting the exact same thing over and over for like an hour

    @lxmcf how about scripting it out then?

    @Condor good point... Can then just do a remote connection and push the script that way... Hmmmm... I may have a project for tomorrow

    @lxmcf curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/l... | sh -

    Something like that should work without issues :) and I think that you can even shorten the URL to goo.gl or something like that.. or just host it on your own server somewhere of course.

    I don't get why all the kids use Arch derivatives instead of Debian derivatives.

    I've used both Deb & Arch extensively, and keep returning to Debian servers and Mint desktops. Not because Arch is too "hard", just because the time I spend editing conf files could also be spent playing games or getting drunk.

    @lxmcf check out Manjaro! It's an Arch based distro without the hassle

    @Haxk20 Why would you need to compile a kernel on antergos? the default it ships with is pretty much good for 90% of cases

    I have to compile one because of my cherry trail SOC to get sound working, but else never had to really

    @bittersweet I've been on antergos/arch for a while and enjoy AUR much more, especially compared to Debian, though I'd compare it more to ubuntu, because Debian has barely any repos and you usually end up compiling from source, also arch was the only one (incl. antergos) that merged in cherry trail changes at that time, so I basically was lured into full time arch on my laptop. Have been using Debian and Ubuntu before that for a long while though and still use Debian and Ubuntu on my servers.

    @JoshBent mostly to restore the 1337 appeal that's lost by installing Antergos I guess 🙃
