Don't you just love cracking dev jokes and have that one special flower start with their:

"well, technically..."

followed by an explanation showing how much expertise in the field they've gathered over the years to be able to point out your joke is not 100% accurate.

Imagine them at a party.

- Knock knock
- Well, technically you wouldn't ASK who's there, statistically people would look first, but nice try

Well technically, you would have used the door bell

    @C0D4

@Gregozor2121 you can still have a door bell without a door.

Hey don't start criticizing the modus operandus of our interactions now... Technically, being a smartass is the only reason I have a social life at all.

@irene Well, technically... devRant is my social life. Don't tell my therapist.

I hate these people so much. I usually imagine them dying in horrific ways, like being decapitated slowly by a cheese grater, or soaking in peroxide for weeks until they finally dissolve.

Those jokes are already boring enough. If you add an explanation to something that is not supposed to have an explanation, you make it even more boring.

@irene lol, this comment sounds like a 'technically' one 😛

    Well technically, that's a non-technical problem.

It's boils down to something like:

    "Well technically,.... you're wrong..."

"Well technically, STFU killjoy can't you even get a joke. LMAO!"

Dammit! I’m that shitbag too. I humbly apologize. :-)

@irene it would just take a lot of peroxide. Wouldn't get everything, though, but I'd want it to be slow. So peroxide it is.

    I would ask who's there...

"Who is at my door knocking without"
