Most of the people sending me work offers have something to do with wordpress.

Man iongiveafuck anymore. Some dude offers me $500 for something that would take me 5 hours to make again and I am gonna swallow my pride and code that shit in wordpress.

Money > your fucking disdain for frameworks/cms/lang/suckingdick/whatever.

Which also means thas that I have to get crzcking with coding in wordpress again since I don't remember much.

@linuxxx i remember you mentioned something in favor of php some time ago. But for some reason I honestly thought you liked it because of how simple it is to manage it on the server side from a sys admin's perspective.

Its pretty cool to know that you code as well my dude!! And that you like php as well :D i love php, main stack we use at work besides Java :D

@AleCx04 Oh no I love writing huge ass custom systems in php!

I've done a 5 years application development study!

    Learned Linux by myself 😄

@linuxxx same here with the Linux portion, i just love it, but then again I really do like all major Operating Systems.

Lots of people hate wordpress and rightfully so really. I have been going at it harder for the past 2 weeks in order to get everything setup as to being able to start working with it. And i have noticed some funny shit. Like for example, new updates to WP relies more on OOP and proper coding standards whereas some older stuff still holds a very procedural process with tons of spaghetti(funcions.php can grow in monstrous ways) and the naming conventions for the API is just funny. All in all tho, I like it, I have worked with WORSE systems by a large margin.

There is one thing that I believe deserves some attention: the wordpress rest api. It really is not bad at all. I have worked with different rest api frameworks, and I tend to prefer django rest or flask as well as express and rails, but what these dudes have done with the wordpress rest is really really good
