Meh, super glue / flex tape that bitch together and go about your day.
When it's time to give it back just shrug "what crack?" -
Man companies have insurance for those cases. Just try to find out if your company has one.

Standard procedure is to charge you with the cost of the laptop, force you to develop for IE6 and claim your firstborn as unpaid Wordpress coder for lifetime.

@jeeper taking a laptop out of the office without authorisation and letting foreigners fumble around with it - that could well lead to getting fired.

@jeeper so that you can move freely within the building. Taking it with you out of office needs authorisation, and taking it to a shop of a third party is completely out of question.

jeeper58096y@Fast-Nop fair enough, but completely foreign to me. Small building so getting back to your work station is easy. 2 people have laptops and take them as they please and I have a MacBook for app dev that belongs to work but is basically mine.
But that it happened on work property, while working, and you are expected to move it, then must know some damage would occur eventually. Give enough laptops out and the probability becomes 1 š it’s human nature
