musma3236yLove test: Masturbate. You still missing her? No? So isn't love, get your head on the fuc#@ng screen and keep coding!
-
@monzrmango you cant do that because it feels really wrong
@electrode being in love is the worst emotion someone can get. literally the worst and even worse thing is you can't fight it. your mind is just constantly thinking about her 24/7 even in dreams and you cant focus on anything/ anyone else; you fail at everything else in life. -
@SukMikeHok the worst....? Dude, you'r living in a fucking happyland or a pinkglassesland if being in love is the worst emotion of all.
-
Yes, it was the same for me, but mine was a distant (3.5hr drive) away. I couldn’t focus, just wanting to be with her all the time. I persuaded her to move after about 18 months, the relationship was strong. We got married and have a son. Fast forward 12 years. I hate her with the same passion as I once loved her. We are heading for divorce. I am really excited about my future without her, although I can not be totally free ‘cos of my son. I am fucked off with being the one that compromises and supports. Be careful. Do not live together and the relationship will be greater and longer. Don’t let society pressure you in to this co-habitual contract. Fuck it. Be free!!!!!
-
@SukMikeHok really? :) I have. But I can tell you, that outside happyland are way, WAY more messed up and devastating feelings than.. Umm.. Falling in love :)
stay in there for as long as you can bcz when you leave it - shit will hit you and then both of you'll hit the fucking enormous fan.
But hey, stay positive! ;) -
OK, I got this.
Imagine her sitting on the throne of turds (toilet) and taking a big fat stinky crap.
Yes, even women stink on the toilet.
Better now?
Go back to coding.
What you currently experience is a cocktail of feelings which betrays you and blinds you.
Love makes us blind ("pink glasses").
You will feel love and attraction to somebody but NEVER FORGET: It will pass sooner or later and what is left behind is reality.
If you are lucky, your opposite has a good character and your attraction may hold forever, but boy if she is not the person you thought she was when you had your pink glasses on, you're fucked.
If you love someone (or have a crush), try to think about the bad habits she has and the bad stuff she says as well, because that's what matters, when the love is gone: How kind is this person really. -
@irene It’s a gradual realisation that she has problems, serious drink problems that she is in denial. Spending lots of money on herself, she works full time but pays nothing towards the house and bills. She wont stop drinking, she can’t see the damage. I fucking hate her. I stopped loving her. If she fixed the drink I still want her to fuck off because of the damage she’s done and she has financially fucked up my future. My friends don’t like her, but that has only come to light after I announced our break up.
-
@irene I won’t let this define me. I intend to get happiness back, and love my son dearly, we had a great holiday together this Summer. We are in the process of trying to sell the house, and splitting properly. My son will be with me most of the time as she works shifts/drunk when not. Bitch.
-
@netikras so you are saying that being in love with someone while failing at college/jobs/school/work/career/everything else in life - is much better?
-
Not sure I agree. I'm very happily married, still very much in love with my wife, and yet I still manage to crank out code for Salesforce of all platforms. (Yeah, the one that ranked "most dreaded tech of 2016" on StackOverflow's survey...)

A young driver with his wife and son were heading to celebrate Christmas Eve with their folks. The driver, call him John, had to work some overtime so the travel started already in the evening. Folks are already waiting 300km away. Driver is already speeding. The road is covered with black ice. The wind gusts are strong and it's starting to snow. Necertheless John keeps his car speed at least 30km/h above the limit.
A hare jumps on the road. John's instincts kick in and he immediatelly hits the breaks. But the road is spotty with black ice... The vehicle starts swinging, then spinning on the road. Seconds later is flies off the highway and rolls over until it hits some tree.
3 weeks later driver wakes up. His son is sitting next to his bed in a chair. Wheelchair. He's crying, because his mom was killed on spot. The doc whispers to John that his son is permanently paralyzed neck to toes. John, however, will be fine.
His son was 11 at the time.
John has just made his son handicap for the rest of his life, not to mention taking away his mother. All this because he didn't want make his folks wait any longer by irresponsible driving. For the rest of the days John will be eaten up from inside by immesurable guilt yo his son. To his wife. To his wife's parents for killing their only chilt and leaving 'em to wait for their deaths without any legacy. -
A young dad has been hiking with his 14 yo firstborn in the forest. It's been already 3 hours they're on the path, both tired. Rain was about to start. On their way home they decided to take a shortcut and take a narrower, darker and poorly lit path to save up to 20 minutes.
They came across a temporary camping site of homeless drunks. It was never there before. One of them, around 30 yo, came to the hikers and stopped them. He was wasted and wanted a cig. Dad [call him John] did not have any - he was not a smoker. The lad did not like the negative feedback at all. He grabbed his son and swung at a tree stem hitting him hard enough to pass out. Dad freaked, he came on to the aggressor. Wasted but physically strong junkie did not care much for it as 4 other homeless youngsters grabbed John and started beating him. Meanwhile the drunk took John's kid, dragged him closer to dad. Took his knife and stabbed right below kid's last left costal bone destroying his spleen. John was forced to watch all this execution why being held back. Pain in his kid's eyes, terror, confusion and a silent screem from the very depth of his throat 'dady.. Help me...'.
The kid died in his father's eyes in a slow, devastating and mentally crushing death in 15 minutes. After this agony drunks beat the shit out of John and left him lie in the rain, in the forest's mud overnight.
Imagine John's desperate incapability to protect his true flesh and blood. The frustration.. The pain watching his kid slowly fade away a few steps away and not being able to do anything about it.
John never recovered. He left his wife after half a year. Began drinking.. Almost 7 years later his mind was so weak he shot himself at the spot his son bled to death. It was an aniversary suicide. -
@SukMikeHok these two are actual stories. Now... Are you seriously telling me your 'falling in love' feeling is so much more terrible and devastating than guilt for taking a relative's life by your fault? Or inability to protect your own son's life while he's 2 steps away slowly padsing away in agony? Seriously man?
Because all these silly 'love problems' are nothing but your lack of discipline and will. Nothing more.
Somehow people do fall in love and do not fuck their lives up. If a man has such problems he is no man. At least until he grows a pair of ballz. -
I think it's just lack of intimacy that or spending time with her that makes you miserable.
If the other person has same feelings to you, call her, make plans to get together and get it all out. -
FUCK YEAH! ONLY RELATABLE POST I'VE EVER FOUND AFTER BREAK UP, GOOD THING YOU DUMPED DISTRACTION.
-
How does it work according to you? The more feelings you start having for a person the less you can write code?
Or is it a sudden thing?
Impossible to write code when you're in love.
