no, they've got probably an promotion. SAP lives of the fact that their sales team is able to sell their crap solutions to bigcorp. AND the most important thing they sell is not the software itself. It's maintance hours as a result of their on purpose poorly made software.

I am sure SAP stinks. I never touched it but I heard about ABAP. Who really makes a language called ABAP?

At this moment I would even program in Assembly if it paid more.

On a serious note stick with it. SAP software may stink but you will always have a job.

@DarkVoyager well hybris belongs to the SAP world but u earn a lot less than a sap consultant - overall I am just a java dev.
On the pro side: i can wear hoodies even when im on premise. In the sap world we „hybrids“, as they used to call us, are the cool guys 😅
