I really love to share my knowledge and I have a opportunity to teach kids coding as a lector. I even switched my f-ing theme to light for them so they can see the board (they're already saying light theme sucks, I love them). Maybe it's only html/css but they're learning so fast even though they're just bunch of 12-13yo Minecraft kids 😂 I'm myself only 17 but I can see the "age gap" between us, I'm getting old...

I suck with kids and explaining the "how it works" or I'd definitely be teaching kids back in my hometown because the school sure as fuck won't expose them to IT/CS classes.

    I'm in the same boat but I'm 19 and they're 16, it's a great experience.

Makes me so happy to hear they are eager. Unlike my classmates when I was in school!

You'd be doing everyone a dis-service if you don't share everything with them you can!
Be sure to give them plenty of self research, find the ones truly interested, push them to explore new options

@kenogo you wouldn't believe this but half of them play Minecraft and hate Fortnite and other half play Fortnite and hate Minecraft. Mindfuck

Awesome. I’ve done the same in the past (when I was 15), but I could definitely pick out the kids that had a natural talent vs. those that would not explore beyond the assignment.

@pavolhalas well, Minecraft is a great tool for kids to learn. I’ve used it a lot for that purpose. And, autistic kids seemed to find their way in the group with it.
