For once, I wish they'd come up with a solid, dependable phone with good battery, and that's not too large, and runs a free OS.

@irene I'd love to own a Librem 5 when it's done, though it's a bit too bleeding edge for my budget right now.
Nokia phones are pretty great though, seem fairly solid, I'll probably end up going for those the next time I need a phone (probably a few years from now).
Till then, I'll continue with my basic Samsung box. -
@irene it's a basic phone, cheap, decent specs (not a heavy Android user anyway), and the UI looks okay after a lot of fiddling. Also, Samsung support is pretty good compared to other companies so that's a big plus.

Mizz14175856y@RememberMe May I interest you in a OnePlus?
Good specs,
build quality, is solid.
and even older Phones like the OP2 are still fairly good supported. -
ZioCain26676y@irene it would actually make sense IF nokia developed a custom version of android, but they didn't... so...

@Mizz141 yeah i acknowledge that, i just forgot it at the time of ranting
Would love to buy the oneplus 6t, but i dont live in official countries now
You can snag in oneplus 6t in less than 300 dollars if you trade in an eligible phone with T-Mobile in the US -
Parzi86636yHuawei's good, but now that there's no free bootloader unlock that takes under 30 years... >.>
