English:
Million = 1000¹ thousands
Billion = 1000² thousands
German(and Swedish):
Million = 1000000¹
Mill-iarde = 1000000^½
Billion = 1000000² -

Found this in our codebase, apparently one of my co-workers had written this
"Billion" doesn't specify the same quantity in German as it does in English.
