I hate windows, I hate office, but for some reason I keep using it.

Office is getting less and less usable every update. Today I accidently put in a foot note and didn't notice until 20 minutes later, then I had to move all my content back above the footnote, but you cannot use copy/cut - paste for this.

Bringing and keeping structure in documents is a nightmare, randomly losing items of unordered lists, getting tabbed back.

I need some \{LaTeX} in my life

Windows keeps adding new features, but still fail to notice that fundamental features are broken, like its camera app and the search results.

It annoys me greatly that every time I install a windows machine, I have to devote substantial effort to disabling all the hamster wheel background stuff. I'm less offended by the spying than I am by the fact that I'm paying to be spied on by providing the hardware these spying services need.

@bahua I wouldn't even be mad if that were just only the case. But the fact that it doesn't work properly just outrages me even more.

It should be that I give up my privacy for convenience, but if it is not usable why would I even bother.

Like Google Docs is any better. lol OneNote is quite handy. All major "products" today, are wretched pieces of shit.

It's no longer about quality, and all about user count. Down to affordable, modern hardware, which is the eqivalent to sell-through calculators at a store.
