Hmm, this depends on the framework you are studying. If it's Rust, then I understand, yes. Either way, I still understand. I have decades of programming experience and I still feel like a novice (but it's my own fault), so you're not alone.
Is it possible that you are missing foundational knowledge, or not? Then that could explain it.
