Well, the mountains are. But even though it does snow a lot in Denver, it's usually melted and evaporated off within 24 hours. Denver is usually dry and without snow. -
@bahua which is exactly why I came here from Wisconsin. This winter so far barely qualifies for fall there.

The last few decades have been markedly warmer and drier than in years past, as is of course the case in all of the temperate parts of the US.
